On the occasion of World Plastic Day, our class – MSc. Applied Genetics Semester II, had the privilege of visiting Manipal Hospital, a renowned healthcare institution at Old Airport Rd, Kodihalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka. The visit coincided with the inauguration ceremony of the Aesthetic Studio and Vitiligo Clinic. We were excited to explore the hospital's facilities, learn about its operations, and gain insights into the latest advancements in healthcare.

The Aesthetic Studio and Vitiligo Clinic were officially inaugurated, and we were impressed by the state-of-the-art infrastructure and cutting-edge technology on display.
Lab Tour:
Following the ceremony, we embarked on a comprehensive tour of the hospital's laboratories. We were accompanied by Mr. Sreejith who was knowledgeable & guided us with in-depth information about the various departments, including medical genetics, biochemistry, hematology, microbiology etc. We were fascinated by the advanced equipment, automated systems, and stringent quality control measures in place.

Hospital Tour:
The tour of the hospital was an eye-opener, showcasing the extensive facilities and services offered. We visited various wards and observed the high standards of patient care and hygiene. We were also impressed by the hospital's emphasis on patient safety, privacy, and comfort.

Our industrial visit to Manipal Hospital was an enriching experience, providing us with valuable insights into the healthcare sector. We were impressed by the hospital's commitment to excellence, innovation, and patient-centric approach. The inauguration ceremony, lab tour, and hospital tour were all well-organized and informative. We extend our gratitude to the hospital authorities and staff for their warm hospitality and willingness to share their expertise with us.
